Kelly

South Wales Funkateer

Kelly attended Corona Stage Academy from the age of 10-16. Whilst she was there she was a dancer and singer on the ITV children’s production Emu’s World for 6 years.

Kelly also appeared in a children’s soap opera and various adverts and radio commercials and has taken part in 3 Royal Command Performances.

After leaving school, Kelly got a full scholarship into the London Studio Centre of Performing Arts and has worked professionally in various music halls in Greece and Germany as a lead dancer and singer.

Kelly is now a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer and thoroughly enjoys teaching dance to children.

“It is fantastic to see the work of Funky Feet benefit the children and young people of our community. Their passion and energy provides a fun and exciting atmosphere for all involved. With increasing concerns of childhood obesity and low self esteem, Funky Feet is an organisation that all schools and parents should be working with so that our children and young people can increase their fitness and self confidence and apply the all important skills that can support them through to a safe, healthy, happy adulthood.” Nick Ramsey, MP.
