Yorkshire Funkateer
Stephanie studied at Loughborough University School of Art & Design where she achieved a BA Hons in Printed Textile Design. With a love for children as well as the arts, she combined the two by working as a freelance artist and play worker, where she offers her artistic skills to children by facilitating workshops and artistic activities for them to do.
Her creative talent generates enthusiasm, creativity and enjoyment. Stephanie developed her interest in dance at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance for a number of years as a child and now attends regular classes there to continue her professional development.
Stephanie also enjoys body popping and freestyle dance using creative dance styles to music influenced by hip hop and African beats. Stephanie has now combined her love for children and dance by running Funky Feet in Yorkshire. Stephanie believes dance continues to develop children’s creativity and introduces enjoyable physical fitness.
“Thank you to Funky Feet for Caitlin’s party on Saturday. Stephanie was great and all the girls really enjoyed the street dancing. I would definitely recommend Funky Feet to anyone who wants a dance party!! Thanks again.” Helen, Mum of Caitlin, aged 10
“You have done a great job! We have had some brilliant feedback from The King’s Camps who said Funky Feet coaches were brilliant with the kids and did some great sessions. Thanks for the great instructors and I hope we can work with you again in the future.” Rebecca Milne, The King’s Foundation
